Clannad – 10
After the bittersweet ending that was Fuko's arc, the story finally diverts its attention to Kotomi. Essentially the intelligent and reclusive loner archetype, Kotomi struggles take note of her surroundings, and is thus unable to make any friends. But you probably knew that from the first time she showed up anyway.

Delving deeper into episode reveals several facts about Kotomi, little quirks about her personality which makes her quite moe, apart from the fact she's voiced by Mamiko Noto, of course. And so, our protagonist takes it upon himself to help Kotomi make friends, by asking her to join the theater club. Hilarity ensues as she struggles to even properly introduce herself.

At the end of the day, she manages to at least make acquaintances with the other heroines. The one thing I didn't expect was her skills with the violin. They were to put it simply, atrocious. Still, Kotomi seems very attracted to it, so I guess she'd improve in future episodes as well as being able to socialize with others.

Decent episode I guess, although I really can't wait for them to reach Kyou's arc, which I hope is soon, since they're almost half way through the series. Shin out.
Myself Yourself – 04
If there's one reason I dislike this week's episode, it's because Nanaka barely showed up and didn't even utter a single line of dialogue. Then again, this episode is all about the new loli and Shuusuke. On the way home from kendo practice, Shuusuke stumbles upon some boys bullying a girl. Being the gentleman, he intervenes, and immediately has her swooning all over him. While lending a hand, he accidentally drops his student handbook, to which the girl picks up with intention of returning it to him. In the afternoon next day, she approaches Shuu who is going home with the rest of the gang and gives his handbook back. She introduces herself as Mochida Hinako, and from that point onwards, promises to show up every afternoon.

In one of the nights after that, Sana forgets to put the rice to boil and decides to eat out instead. Sana then runs into Hinako at a family food joint. Questioning her, he finds out that she comes out to eat alone whenever her mom is busy with work. She follows up by telling him that since she is 10 years old already, she's no longer a child(whut) Right after that statement, the waitress brings her the child's meal that she ordered which had Sana in stitches. Explaining herself, she tells him that she merely ordered the set meal for the purpose of collecting the Yeti-kun toy that comes with it.

The next day after school, Hinako approaches Sana who is with Aoi, for advice and they return to his apartment. There, he begins taking off his shirt, which had Hinako making a big fuss over. He stops to listen to what Hinako had to say and it turns out she wanted to talk about her feelings towards Shuusuke, to which he responds with a laughter. Hinako gets upset about it and decides to leave. Attempting to apologize to her, Sana trips on the table and falls on top of Hinako, and at this exact moment, Aoi shows up at his door with some cake. Oh boy. After clearing things up, Sana tells Aoi about Hinako's crush for Shuu. Aoi then tells Hinako that the first thing that needs to be done is to find out what type of girl the target likes. Like your average guy, Shuu tells Sana who approached the latter about it, that he likes girls with with huge breasts. This prompts Hinako to seek advice from Aoi about her secrets for having such ample bossoms. In a bind, they both go to Aoi's mom instead and asks her about it. Aoi's mom then suggests to Hinako that she eats well, sleeps well and play a lot, and concluding it by telling her that a woman's breasts has a lot of dreams. Aoi must dream very often then, hehe.

Since it didn't go as planned, Sana approaches Shuu again to ask him about features he wants in a girl apart from being well stacked. Shuu thinks about it for a moment and after looking at his sister across the classroom, he tells Sana that he wants girls that can cook. Again, Aoi offers to help Hinako learn how to cook, with disastrous results. As a final measure after the fact Shuu still treats Hinako like a kid, Aoi tells her that she should confess to Shuu directly. The plan was for Sana to take Shuu to the aquarium and "bump" into Hinako. Things proceed smoothly and Sana lets the two be, while he wanders elsewhere but is soon found out. Seeing the expression on Hinako's face, Sana figures out the outcome of the confession and suggests to go home. Alone with Sana, Hinako admits that she got rejected flat out by Shuu, but tells him not to sympathize with her and is not sad, since she was treated like an adult this time around. Just as Hinako was about to cry, Sana embraces and comforts Hinako, telling her that even adult weep from a broken heart.

Despite the lack of Nanaka, this turned out to be a decent character introduction episode, and we get to to find out Shuu's preference in women, which taking his two perquisites into mind, describes Aoi perfectly. So does this mean that he actually likes her? Well, maybe not, since he is telling Sana those things as they are also precisely his sister's shortcomings, so I guess he wants someone completely different from her. Also, the part where Shuuri narrates the preview for the next episode put a smile on my face, as it was a nod to Rika from Higurashi, as she does it in a similar fashion. Sana confirms this when he asks if Shuuri might have gotten the wrong show. Speaking of next episode, it looks like it's going to be fully dedicated to Nanaka and Sana, so perhaps we'll see some progress between them as well some new revelations. Shin out.
Koharu Biyori – 01
Often disappointed by recent fanservice shows that are marred with heavy censorship and/or low quality animation, along comes Koharu Biyori. This 3 part OVA special entails the the life of your everyday otaku and his recently acquired robot maid. While it may sound like some Chobits ripoff, the thing about this anime, while it bears no coherent plot whatsoever, is a great title simply due to the fact it encompasses every known anime fanservice element known to otakukind, be it maids, cosplay, shrine maidens, nipple shots, lolis, MILFs, tentacles and bukkake. It does so in the most outrageous manner possible, hence earning it an R-15 rating.

The first episode itself is divided into 3 mini stories, introducing all those fetishes as I've already mentioned, and I have to admit, I was constant キタ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━ッ!! mode that lasted almost throughout the entire show, until it reached the point where it involved a baby penis that made elephant sounds, which really killed the mood(Don't ask)

With the 2nd episode due sometime in November and the finale not until March next year, I'm really looking forward to this, not to mention subtitles for the episode, since, as you can tell from the title of this post, I've only watched the raw(Not that it really matters considering the nature of the show). A fanservice show done really well, Koharu Biyori is a great watch(for like-minded perverts such as myself >_>) alongside other titles like Dokuro-chan, which is almost similar in nature, minus the gratuitous violence. Shin out.
Kimikiss Pure Rogue – 01
Kiss kiss koishiteru yo!
Along with the Autumn season of "Harem" animes, a rather different sort of harem anime was brought to us - Kimikiss Pure Rouge. Unlike most other animes where the story evolves around a single male character, Kimikiss pairs the girls up with different guys and slowly unfolds more of the story.
A mysterious, innocent looking, beautiful girl looking into your house?
The show starts with a mysterious beautiful girl ringing the door bell of Sanada Kouichi's home. Just awoken from bed he walks down to find a girl looking in. Quickly seeing him she yells out for him to help her with her luggage then makes herself at home getting a drink from the refrigerator. Kouichi unable to understand whats going on played along as he tries to figure out who she is. She then jumps in for a shower while while he sits outside clueless of who she is! Just then, Kouichi's best friend Aihara Kazuki appears at the doorstep shocked after hearing a girl's voice from the shower! As Kouichi tries to explain himself, Kazuki and the mysterious girl caught a good look at each other and Kazuki quickly recalls who she is! This mysterious yet beautiful girl happened to be Mizusawa Mao, a childhood friend of both Kouichi and Kazuki who moved to france 2 years ago! Kouichi's mom then arrives home and explains that Mao will be staying with the Sanada's from then on! Kazuki then quickly reminds Kouichi of their meeting with a school mate Hiiragi Akira for a short movie filming for the club promotion.
Shocked to hear a girls voice from the shower of your best friend's home?
Finally recognizing each other?
They began shooting the movie ( rather childish one, no clue why they'd film something like this to promote their club -_- lame!) and there were a few humorous scenes. Returning from that outing Kouichi and Kazuki had a good chat. Kazuki explains how he wanted to get a girl friend by the summer holidays while Kouichi practically threw a bucket of water in his face. Returning home after a long day, Kouichi tries to get some sleep. However, Mao comes in dragging him up to accompany her due to her jet-lag.
What kind of person would make this their club's recruitment video?
Determination isn't everything! Or is it?
Waking up the next morning, Kouichi and Mao both finding themselves absolutely exhausted due to the lack of sleep meets up with Kazuki and his sister Nana on their way to school. Short moments of reunion between Nana and Mao. Apparently Nana will also be attending the same school as the trio! Arriving at school, they checked for which classes they've been allocated in. Kazuki and Kouichi were again in the same class. However, what interest Kouichi was to find Hoshino Yuumi in the same class as well! After a short preview of Kouichi's class, the story then splits off to talk about Mao's day at school. Mao made a few friends in class despite it being only the first day. However, she seems to find the guy sitting next to her, Kai Eji most interesting.
Sakino also in Kouichi's and Kazuki's class.
Tsundere male ? o.O
Kouichi who lost in a simple game of paper, rock and scissors had to bring the costumes they used back to the drama club. On the other hand, Kazuki walking out of the school building picked up a paper-plane. Unfolding it to find it was a exam paper with Futami Eriko's name on it. Quickly switching back to Kouichi, Kouichi walks into a class room to meet Hoshino Yuumi cleaning the blackboard. She quickly runs out and when Kouichi called for her, she just simply smiled and said that they were both again in the same class. On the other side, Kazuki had trace the source of where the paper planes were being thrown from and went to the science lab finding Eriko sitting on a chair next to window. Futami Eriko (a girl with tons of mysteries whom i personally find most interesting has an IQ of 190) fails her exam paper with 0% on purpose. Much surprised that someone picked up her paper-planes and returned them, she proposed to conduct and experiment. And "BANG!"......
Nothing else better to say?
What kind of EXPERIMENT is this? Give it TO ME!!!!
An interesting girl indeed.
Kimikiss is now at the top of my list to watch for this season along with Myself, Yourself! Having much faith in this anime due to the many well-known seiyuu's.
Asuka Sakino by Ryou Hirohashi (Konata Izumi, Lucky Star)
Eriko Futami by Rie Tanaka (Lacus Clyne, Gundam Seed)
Mitsuki Shijō by Mamiko Noto (Matsuri Shihō, Sola)
Yūmi Hoshino by Ami Koshimizu (Yuti Ra, Heroic Age)
GIVE ME MOAR OF ERIKO!!!!
Evern out.
Shakugan no Shana S2 – 01
With the start of a new season of anime releases, the autumn anime season kicks off with a ton of exciting and promising animes. Many call this the "Harem" Anime season due to the release of many fanservice/Harem animes! However, putting aside all the fanservice animes we also have a new season of Shakugan no Shana! An anime with much fans and fame has finally returned with a second season of Shakugan no Shana II(Second).

Shakugan no Shana Returns!

Something familiar from Season 1 ?
This season kicks off with a short flashback of what happened back in season one! However, they've put it in a way where Sakai Yuji experiences a unrestricted spell and enters in own dream. Thus, showing new viewers a short preview and also contributing to the current plot! Later on, Yuji reliazes that in this world only things that he knows of can occur while things he do not know off will not happen! Awaken from his dream, Yuji finds himself in the middle of a battle alongside Shana against a Guze no Tomugara. Apparently, the Tomugara has a Hougu with the ability to extract information from individuals and put anyone into a world consisting of the individual's information! Making this simple, the Tomugara is capable of placing people into others or their own dreams!Still lost in what just happened, Shana quickly kicks Yuji aside saving him from the enemy's attack! Without wasting much time, Shana slays the Tomugara and ended the battle.

Yuji realizes that he's in a world where only things he know of can occur.

MOE! Tomugara greeting Yuji as he awakens from his Déjà vu.
Although experiencing the Unrestricted Spell created by the Tomugara, Yuji is unable to recall what happened during the short moment in battle. Convinced that it wasnt anything to worry about, Yuji continues his day with Shana heading to school. Romance kicks in a little with some Comedy when Yuji questions Shana about what she said back in the "Serei Den" in season one's finale. And we get to hear Shana's motto "Urusai!Urusai!Urusai!!!" once again!

Shana and Yuji heads to school after the battle.

Shana escaping from Yuji's question.

" Urusai, Urusai, Urusai!!! "
Arriving at school, Yuji and Shana meets up with Yoshida and Ike. Shana is quickly reminded of her love rival Yoshida who is also after Yuji's heart. Shana vows again that she will not loose out! With much excitement already presented in season one, fans are expecting nothing less from this current season as well. What will Shana do to gain Yuji's love? Will she spill it again and this time so its clear and uninteruppted? Who's this Tomugara who continues to affect Yuji even after being slayed by Shana? How far stronger has Yuji become after the incident at Seirei-Den? All these are to be answered in the following episodes as fans impatiently await!

Denying it though her face tells another story? Lawl!

Is Yoshida-chan too much to handle?
Evern out.

Umisho – 06
While it may not win any awards whatsoever, Umisho can best be described as this season's guilty pleasure, as admittedly, fanservice really dictates the flow of this show, but whatever. This week we're introduced to the latest addition to the swimming team, who comes in a form of a haughty celebrity hottie by the name of Nanako Maaya. We quickly discover that she's also Kaname's childhood friend, and while this anime archetype usually means the protagonist(Kaname) would have had fond memories with her(Maaya), it doesn't ring true this time around.

Emm, delicious gradient hair.

What she remembers.

What probably really happened.

Not me. :)
As expected, Maaya, the two time middle school champion stirs up trouble at the club with her diva attitude, much to the annoyance of Orizuka, although the boys, save for Kaname, were mesmerized by Maaya's charms. Look out for the Code Geass reference when Maaya Geass'es the males into building a private changing room for her.
Shit really hits the fan when the the storage room/boy's changing room collapses after Maaya smacks the wall(what?) and probably also due to the Captain's sudden "renovation" on it. With no other place to change, the girl's changing room is put at stake in a between the boys and girls, with the winner obtaining full rights to it. The captain then interrupts the match and declares that if he were to win, everyone would have to strip outside instead. Lawl.

Oh you, Shizuoka-senpai!

Hard to say. Shizuoka, perhaps?

Wise words indeed. Just don't try what he did.

It all keeps tumbling down.
With no clear winner due to outside intrusion, Maaya is then straightened out by Amuro who talks some sense into the brat. However Maaya is unfazed by it and kicks Amuro into the pool, which would probably mean we'll get to see more of this rivalry between the two in future episodes. Yup. Shin out.
