Fate/Unlimited Codes

In a collaboration with TYPE-MOON, Capcom will be releasing a 3D fighter based on the ever popular Fate/Stay series. More screenshots at Famitsu. Having somewhat enjoyed Fatal/Fake, which mind you, isn't a professional release, I'm having high hopes for this, despite it being in full 3D(I'm a sucker for 2D beat 'em ups)

Either way, this is the only other TYPE-MOON related release that I'm interested in, other than Melty Blood Actress Again, and the English translation for the Unlimited Blade Works route for the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. Shin out.
lol stop dling our anime kthxbai

The Japanese government issued a formal statement of requests to the government of the United States on regulatory reform and market competition policy on October 18, and included a request for the United States to help stop the unauthorized reproduction and distribution of Japanese animation online. Specifically, the formal statement mentions the spread of Japanese animation and other materials on video-sharing sites and peer-to-peer file-sharing networks.
According to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the distribution of copyrighted materials in the United States has increasingly damaged the creative industries of Japan. Despite frequent requests to remove unauthorized material from sites with user-submitted videos, the ministry says the fundamental problem remains unresolved for the foreseeable future. The ministry also says that the high legal costs and complex procedures of copyright infringement cases against peer-to-peer file-sharing are issues.
Japanese copyright holders have been sending increasing numbers of requests to remove unauthorized material from video-sharing sites such as Google's YouTube, and anime is its own category in several sites — inside and outside the United States — that link to file-sharing networks such as BitTorrent. The issues in the statement of requests were discussed in the fourth Japan-U.S. Trade Forum meeting which was held on October 18 in Tokyo. - Source
Dream Come True(?)

MAASTRICHT, Netherlands, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- The University of Maastricht in the Netherlands is awarding a doctorate to a researcher who wrote a paper on marriages between humans and robots.
David Levy, a British artificial intelligence researcher at the college, wrote in his thesis, "Intimate Relationships with Artificial Partners," that trends in robotics and shifting attitudes on marriage are likely to result in sophisticated robots that will eventually be seen as suitable marriage partners.
Levy's conclusion was based on about 450 publications in the fields of psychology, sexology, sociology, robotics, materials science, artificial intelligence, gender studies and computer-human interaction.
The thesis examines human attitudes toward affection, love and sexuality and concluded that the findings are just as applicable to human interaction with robots of the future as they are to the relationships between humans of today. - Source
Yup, in the near future, each and every one can be a Krillin and officially marry their own Android 18. However as one anonymous has said, it will be a happy marriage until the hard drive starts to skip, and she forgets all her memories. Then one day pushes you out of the way of a speeding truck on a rainy night, then you'll preach to others how precious their computers are. ORZ
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni : The Movie(?!)

Not to be confused with the live action porno (don't ask) there will be an actually feature length movie in theaters next year, directed by Oikawa Otaru. With additional information courtesy of Famitsu, all the actors playing the main characters have been announced. As history has shown, game/anime to movie transitions never turn out well, and sure enough, fans have already gathered together to protest against this. Below are the list of the actors and the characters they will be playing as:
Maeda Gouki(16) as Maebara Keiichi
Matsuyama Airi(17) as Ryuugu Rena
Asuka Rin(16) as Sonozaki Mion
Ono Erena(13) as Houjo Satoko
Aika(15) as Furude Rika
What can I say? Well, for one, no matter how the movie turns out to be, I guess the consolation is that the actors here look way better than the ones in the pr0n I guess ^^; Also, how they can compress so much of the story in a 2 hour(at best) movie is beyond me. In any case, this is something to look forward to, regardless of the outcome. Nii~paa. Shin out.

First off all, my image host's bandwidth has been killed so I have to host images elsewhere now.
Well, it seems that my previous comment has made it to the local papers in lovely Singapore and has gotten Mr Sing's attention to the extent he's apparently shaking in his boots. Lawl. In any case, here are some newspaper clippings that bear mention to it.

With a downloader? More like "double-6-ed so many downloaders~ serve them right!" to me. Also, I guess he's under so much stress he couldn't remember when he posted his comments...

More random clippings. Yes, that's the wanted posted I made. XDDD
Anyway, for more info, head over to the EDMW section of Hardwarezone.com for more comedy.
Okay, back to watching StrikerS 16 and 17. Damn kacau wei. Shin out.
PS; Mr Sing, if you want to track my IP or anything through Singtel or Starhub ;
Save it please. I'll let you know now that I'm from Malaysia. Wiki-linked in case you don't know where it is. Kthxbai.
how do i gotten pwnt

If found to be genuine, the following is pretty much the epitome of divine retribution; as I've mentioned in my other post on how Odex have been going around busting downloaders, it would seem as though that they're slowly being suppressed into submission. A glimmer of hope comes in a form of some great detective work from the members of the Singapore based Hardware Zone forums, as they've managed to track down one of Odex's directors, Stephen Sing Xin Yang, who has carelessly left traces of himself gloating about his deeds.

The alleged posts by the head honcho himself.
And just like an episode of CSI, the evidences kept coming in, all leading to Mr Sing himself, everything from his contact details to his picture.

The most hated man in Singapore's anime community.
Wanted: Dead Or Alive. Preferbly dead, from the looks of it. Lawl.
As of posting, the reactions to this revelation are what you'd expect from the community, mainly disgust and disappointment at how a man who doesn't look any more different from your average otaku could do something like screwing his kind to that extent over money. Do visit that topic from time to time for more updates and such on this finding(hopefully it does not get deleted) Well in any case, if it does turn out to be true, Mr Sing is going to have great difficulty walking the streets of Singapore safely, as there might be some scornful otaku at the corners waiting to ambush him. The thought of it alone excites me. Shin out.

Wry yu take away animu?
For those who keeping tabs on the anime blogging scene, the ODEX vs ANIME FANS case in Singapore should not come off as anything new nor surprising. Their latest victim this time is a 9 year old kid, although it's not mentioned what he downloaded(probably the similiar stuff the others with caught with, namely Naruto, Bleach, D.Gray Man and whatnot. And you haven't noticed already, all Singapore based anime blogs are kinda slow on their updates these days no thanks to Odex. As fellow fans, we can only wish our brothers and sisters from the island republic the best of luck. Shin out. :<
