Ah yes, the final episode to one of the best drama/romance anime last season which everyone's been waiting for. Viewers are treated a spectacular series of beautiful images depicting a remote European settlement accompanied with soothing music. Screenshots below;

LAWL WUT?!

Well, the reason for this was not because the broadcasters decided to play a joke on viewers, but rather it was pulled off air due to an incident which occurred earlier in the day, in which a 16 year old Japanese girl killed her own father with an axe. This alarmed television officials who initially planned to air a toned down ending, which although the article never specifically mentions but I guessing is the one where [SPOILERS] Katsura kills Sekai by slitting her throat [/SPOILERS] since it would in some ways be very similar to the aforementioned incident. As to when the actual episode will air, rumors so far suggest they might air it sometime soon or delay it till December and could probably mean they might give us an alternate ending. Uh oh, harem ending for Christmas? More likely than you think! Damn. Shin out.

Comiket 72

If you didn't already notice, this year's Summer Comiket is now upon us, making it the 72nd time this event has been held, which is a must visit for all otakus in Japan who want the latest fan-made doujinshis. For the ~~rest of us~~ me however, it means it's time to lurk torrent sites and imageboards for ~~adult-rated~~ ~~erotic~~ ~~hentai~~ doujins of questionable content from popular circles like T2 Artworks, Nise Midi Doronokai and Mahirutei, with their take on Hayate no Gotoku, Lucky Star and Gurren Lagann respectively(all my favorites) Till then, I'm going to try out the latest Touhou game. Shin out.

Saimoe 2007

Well, here it is; matchups for this year's Saimoe tournament have already been determined. Group stage matches are underway and this will commence everyday with up to 3 characters battling it with one another at once during the preliminaries. Expect more updates when the tournament reaches round 3 onwards, but for now, head over to the official Saimoe 2007 site and start voting! Haruhi dog unrelated. Shin out!

The Extravaganza of Haruhi Suzumiya

Released just recently on DVD, this is a fan conference cum live concert featuring seiyuus from the aforementioned show that took place in March. The entire was around 4 hours long; the first half was a discussion panel with the director, character designer and the main cast and a short skit featuring the SOS Brigade while the second half featured live songs performed by the seiyuus.

It was a sold out event, with both audience and performers being very enthusiastic.
