Rosario + Vampire CAPU2

What can I say? This feels like just another episode from the previous season, with introduction of a new permanent character among other things. Kokoa, Moka's half sister nicely fills in the tsundere spot that Tsukune's harem is lacking. The routine remains the same, with True Ancestor Moka popping up near the end to kick ass, though we're treated to a slightly different transformation sequence this time around. To be honest, the only real good thing about this sequel would be the OP and ED theme by Nana Mizuki which have been looping on my playlist ever since the single was released.

Kuroshitsuji

I've been suffering withdrawal symptoms due to the lack of FABULOUS and have banked on Black Butler to ease the pain. The result? Like a maiden who got swept off her feet, Sebastian's demeanor and those soul piercing devilish red eyes had me swooning all over. Again, this is supposedly shounen, though it feels more like a black comedy of sorts, as it switches from serious to plain hilarious at a drop of a hat, with some minor supernatural elements thrown in for good measure. But really, I'm just in it for the FABULOUS.

ToraDora!

Believe it or not, I was quite the delinquent in school, so I can somehow relate to this show. However, I did not come into contact with feisty girls who would verbally and physically abuse me, which is unfortunate, since I would have turned out to be a better person today, but I digress. Taiga is really just your cookie-cutter Tsundere, who's also a clumsy person to boot, though she resorts to violence to overcome it. As such, ToraDora! doesn't exactly break the mould at this point, but being a masochist at heart, I would gladly put up with that kind of torture just to see how the series fares later on.

Tsukune inherits the power of Magneto. Shocking!

Within 10 seconds of the show, boobs! More fanservice this week courtesy of Ririko-sensei who made a brief appearance in the previous episode. From appearance it's evident this one heck of a lusty teacher that's giving the boys at school a reason to attend her class. She teaches math, which happens to be Tsukune's weakest subject. Finally, something I can relate to!

Desperate, Tsukune seeks Moka's assistance, as failing would mean having to take remedial classes during summer. Without hesitation, Moka agrees to his request, but man, the way she does it makes it look like she's inviting him for a shag. Of course, that's not what she really meant, as what she really wanted was to take a bite at Tsukune as usual. Being a harem show, you can always expect Tsukune's hoes to be in the vicinity, as they're not going to let him spend some alone time with Moka. With that, they all have a group study session, with the loli Yukari taking charge.

By the end of the day after exhaustively staring at each other, Moka and Tsukune were about to head home, until Ruriko suddenly showed up and found out about the aforementioned study group. With her sex appeal, she easily manages to convince Tsukune that he requires professionally tutoring from her. After being reminded about the summer vacation that follows up after the finals, Tsukune is motivated more than ever to pass.

Tsukune show up for Ririko's after class lessons, and before you start thinking dirty stuff, that's because it actually is. Don in her dominatrix outfit, this sadistic maths teacher just confirms what you would probably have suspected when she first showed up. And lo, it turns out Ririko's attracted to Tsukune because of his "human smell", similar to why the mermaids wanted him in the first place. Ever since then, our hero is put under an enchantment that makes him mutter mathematic formulas non-stop to the point of zombification. In his state, he ignores everyone, including Moka who is accused by Ririko for distracting Tsukune from being able to study. Gullible to such things, Moka takes it all in and goes all emo.

Because the producers were unable to come up with any proper material, we are treated to a short sequence of everyone studying for the exams, complete with an insert song too, which incidentally is from Moka's character CD. After that commercial, Tsukune is still being put under intense tutelage by Ririko, in more ways than one. This however, she becomes more aggressive than ever and reveals her true form as some half snake lady and attacks Tsukune. His cries somewhat become audible to Moka who managed to show up in time to rescue him. This time around, Mizore lends a hand by distracting Ririko, probably as payback for her accusal in the previous episode.

Unfortunately, all they managed to accomplish was piss Ririko off, and she quite literally puts Moka in a bind. Cue Tsukune who is snapped back into reality after he sees the study notes Moka had prepared for him earlier. With that, the usual transformation sequence takes place, and Ririko is put in her place, this week within 31 seconds! The finals arrive, and Tsukune has lost all memory of the stuff he had studied while under Ririko. Still his hard work paid off, and he manages to pass, with flying colors too.

Hur hur, summer vacation episode next week, which means more tits and ass. All expectations that they'd somehow advance the plot a little have been crushed, but I guess there's no real surprise regarding this, so I'm not going to complain. With that, I eagerly await more pointless fanservice to come my way in the following episode. Shin out.

I never got how this became an onomatopoeia

STILL NOT READING THE MANGA! With that aside, this episode seems to contain more plot than the past few combined, which although isn't saying much, is actually an improvement. Mizore Shirayuki, a student who has been absent for quite some time makes her reappearance at school, and is already smitten with Tsukune. She claims that he is the only one who can understand her feelings, seeing as how they're both meek in nature, ignoring the fact they both just met for the first time ¯\(º_o)/¯

Mizore's probably the second stalker girl I've seen in anime, the first being Matoi Tsunetsuki from Sayanora Zetsubou Sensei. Interestingly enough, she is voiced by Rie Kugimiya, which was hard to tell for me at first, since it wasn't her usual trademark loli tone of voice(I mistook her for Yukari initially lawl) Unlike the more docile stalker-tan from SZS, Mizore's much more possessive and is willing to resort to violence to attain Tsukune.

It doesn't take long for her to reveal her true nature, as it becomes obvious Moka is the only obstacle that stands between her and the prize. It doesn't help that the teachers(other than Nekonome) are prejudiced against her. Poor girl, she just wants some loving ;-; Luring the gullible male lead away, she dispatches her ice puppets to kill Moka. Because we can't have her dying at this point, Kurumi steps in to rescue the damsel in distress. Speaking of which, the ever useless Tsukune once again has his ass saved by his harem once again. Seeing as how her efforts were all for naught, Mizore runs away sobbing, only to be confronted by one of the male teachers...

The gang recuperating from their impromptu fight with the ice woman, receives word that the teacher in question has been attacked by for some reason by none other than Mizore, who is immediately put under suspension and will most likely be expelled. The cause for the attack is unknown, although both Yukari and Kurumi seem to believe it was the same case with Tsukune. Cue Gin, who enters the discussion with a bunch of photos proving Mizore's innocence, although by then, Tsukune had already left to find her. Looks like his voyeurism is finally being put to good use other than for fapping purposes!

However, Mizore now more emo than ever before, glooms by cliff side, probably attempting to jump into the sea. Tsukune shows up and delivers some cheesy lines about how he believes in her, but she would have none of it. The girl arrives in time to show Tsukune the aforementioned photographs, although it was too late. In a fit of rage and despair, Mizore unleashes several ice puppets which were the manifestation of her feelings at that point. Everything goes out of hand as Mizore herself is unable to control her summons. The usual rosario removal scene occurs and the day is saved once again, by Moka! Needless to say, Mizore's ice cold heart has been melted by Tsukune, and with that she now stalks him on a daily basis, probably providing more lulz and panty shots in the upcoming episodes.

With a few more episodes to go, not to mention apparently Mizore's appearance was a rushed one, it's safe to say they won't be delving into the meatier part of the story which I've heard so much good things about. Still, that's not exactly why I'm sticking to the anime, so I'll be glad once it's over so I can hop right into the manga instead. Shin out.

Tsukune swaps bodies with Moka and instinctively checks himself out.

A peeping tom is on the loose, and an obnoxious person by the name of Morioka Ginei is introduced. How obvious can this get? Anyway, it turns out Gin is the president of the newspaper club which Tsukune and company joined last week. For their first case, Kurumi suggests that they seek out the identity of the serial peeping tom that has been preying on girls recently.

The first task at hand, according to Gin is of course to post up information fliers around the school seeking public help. He asks Moka and Kurumi to put them up, taking the opportunity to peek from below. Tsukune shows up and catches the senior in the act, but for some reason or another, the blame is shifted onto our hero. Cue paradox and contradictions. All this while, the girls have been throwing themselves at Tsukune, but this time around, they get mad at Tsukune for the possibility that he had seen their underwear. Lawl wut? Apparently, Kurumi wouldn't have mind showing it to Tsukune as long as he asked, but Moka blushes so much you'd think that Tsukune saw her in the nude or something. She even tells him that she hates perverts (º_o)??

After getting wind that Tsukune and Moka might be going steady, Gin gets envious and decides to tear the two of them apart. He manages to lure the ever gullible male lead to a secluded location and tricks him into peeking at the girls in the changing room. Stupid Tsukune is stupid. Gin snaps a photograph of Tsukune in action and flees, leaving the latter all alone to face the female's wrath. To make matters worse, Moka appears out of nowhere and witnesses the entire commotion.

Moka then heads to the rooftop to ponder things over, unsure whether to believe Tsukune's claims that he wasn't intentionally peeping, when Gin shows up in attempts of comforting her. While she does not fall for his advances, Moka is gullible enough to almost have bought Gin's story that Tsukune did actually peep, with the photos he took earlier. Luckily, Kurumi and Yukari in their weird detective get-up arrives in time to point out the discrepancy in the pictures Gin had. Despite all the denial, Gin's intentions were exposed when photographs of the girls he took slipped out of his uniform.

Gin realizes he is now cornered and transforms into his true self, a werewolf, which unlike the previous episode's foes, is actually a formidable opponent on par with vampires. Tsukune shows up and does his usual, but no one hit knockout punch from True Ancestor Vampire, as Gin's agility was magnified by the full moon, rendering him impervious from any hits. And then oops, the clouds shroud the moonlight, and Gin is stopped in his tracks, allowing Moka to sock him one. The following day, Tsukune and the girls put up notice posters clearing Tsukune of all accusations and everything ends well.

Another ho hum episode. In any case, with the show nearly over, we finally get to meet the fourth addition to Tsukune's harem, who is none other than the ice woman Mizore. Yay. Shin out.

All girls get such a reaction from just getting wet.

As if the previous episodes weren't laden with enough fanservice, Gonzo kicks it up a notch this week with more over the top ecchi moments from start to finish. It's the school's obligatory extra co-curriculum day, and as such, both Tsukune and Moka scour around for a club to join, but unfortunately none of them were suitable. Moka's squealing as she gets harassed by club members really got me hard lawl.

It doesn't take long but the pair finally stumbles upon the seemingly normal swimming club. Of course, by normal I mean it's filled with nubile, young hotties that have just opened their membership to even males. Being the healthy male that he is, Tsukune joins without much hesitation, despite Moka's reluctance. It is here that Moka's weakness versus water is revealed, much to my disappointment, as I wanted to see her in a bikini ＿|￣|○ She gets annoyed by Tsukune's tomfooler, and leaves the pool.

The gloomy mood is quickly negated as both Kurumi and Yukari make their timely appearance. Lucky bastard Tsukune gets a whiff of Kurumi's vag00 and Yukari's Delicious Flat Chest ® (╬ ಠ益ಠ) RAAAAAAAGE!! Speaking of which, Kurumi sure knows how to work her man, and she rubs herself seductively against Tsukune. Again, (╬ ಠ益ಠ) RAAAAAAAGE!! Sadly for Yukari, her loli charms could only get her so far, although it doesn't stop her from fighting over Tsukune with Kurumi.

Elsewhere, more explanation on Moka's weakness versus water. Apparently water has purification properties that deal MASSIVE DAMAGE to vampires, and as such, Moka can only cleanse herself with water that has been neutralized by herbs. Interesting, but nothing compared to what happens next. Viewers are treated to what seems like a animated version of Girls Gone Wild Pool Edition, as the female members battle it out with one another in a series of events, complete with of nipslips and other boner-inducing moments.

Of course it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt, and sure enough, we've reached the later half of the show where the villain does their shit. The swimming club members reveal their true forms, and aptly enough, they turn out to be life-sucking mermaids, with the president having eyed Tsukune as he smells very human. Cue Moka, who arrives in the nick of time, but this time around, she has to deal with her weakness, which is exploited by the cunning mermaids. Of course, the selfless Moka ignores that fact and dives head in to rescue her lunch Tsukune. From here on out, it's pretty predictable; Tsukune frees himself, removes the Rosario and asses get wh00ped.

True Ancestor Moka however, is still angry at Tsukune for not understanding the other Moka's feelings and tells him in the face that he has no right to be with her. He apologizes to her the next day, and all is well..not. The pair is still left without a club to join, to which their homeroom teacher, the catgirl whose name I forgot, takes the opportunity to recruit them into newspaper club. Not wanting to be left behind, the seductive succubus and lolita witch volunteer as well.

So yeah, another episode of R+V. Shenanigans involving peeping toms next week, so look forward to it ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ Shin out.

I came!

Unhappy with his newfound harem of three(lawl), Tsukune contemplates over whether or not, things should remain as they are. As expected of an indecisive male harem lead who doesn't know he's being blessed with the presence of really attractive women.

On his way to take out the thrash, he meets up with three wankers who are apparently the presidents of fanclubs dedicated to the three females in Tsukune's harem thus far. They all take potshots at him, not realizing he's actually human. This persists until the girls come to his aid, which results in more sulking from Tsukune, as he finds himself being useless. Hurt in more ways than one, Tsukune recuperates, talking on a cellphone with no one on the other end, asking if it's fine for a weak human like himself, who is supposed to be protecting the girls, to stay at the academy.

We turn our attention to the fanboys, drooling over and rubbing themselves against photos of their idols. I can't make fun of them, as it hits closer to home than I imagined ;_; More disgusting fanboy antics the following day, as they individually stalk the girls of their liking, with Moka the only one safe. The other two, namely Kurumu and Yukari, complain to the former and Tsukune over this matter. It's suggeste they all accompany Tsukune, to lure and finish off the fanboys at first sight. Tsukune declines, but Moka accidentally lets slip that he's no match for the three of them. With his male pride hurt from Moka's statement, Tsukune leaves and broods for the rest of the day.

While doing some cleaning chores, Yukari spots Tsukune carrying a bag leaving the school vicinity. Somewhat alarmed by it, she runs off to tell Moka about it. As it so happened to be the same day the bus arrives for its monthly stopover, Moka immediately concludes that Tsukune was going to leave the place. Being all alone, Tsukune is ambushed by the fanboys, who reveal their true forms. I can see why they can't get laid. From here on it's business as usual; Tsukune gets hurt, the girls show up, Tsukune removes Moka's rosary, and some asses get kicked. As it turns out, all Tsukune had wanted to do was ask the bus driver to deliver some letters to his family. Oops.

Just another R+V episode, with the usual servings of ecchi and a non-coherent plot. Then again, if you've been keeping tabs on my summaries, you'd know that I'm a sucker for this sort of things, so yeah ^^; Next week seems to compensate for the lack of fanservice, as it is going to be a swimsuit episode, so expect gratuitous amounts of boner inducing moments(hopefully). Shin out.

Whatever could they be looking at?

Why does this show gives me the hard-on? I feel so guilty for liking this show. Not. Yet another introduction episode, this time the lolilicious 11 year old witch Sendo Yukari. Due to her intelligence, she is able to skip a few grades and factor in her mischievous nature, she is not exactly the most popular student in school. That being said, it doesn't stop her from going after the most popular student, Moka. After being rescued by a few delinquents, Yukari confesses her feelings to Moka, and the boob grabbing, nose bleed inducing loliyuri shenanigans between the two really pushes all my fanboy buttons.

Seeing Tsukune as a threat, she reveals to him her true identity and plays a trick on him, in hopes of keeping him at bay. Slightly injured, Tsukune heads to the infirmary to patch up, with Kurumi accompanying him. Yukari, who is nearby decides once again to mess with Tsukune, this time with the help of a voodoo doll. The events that ensue is so overloaded with fanservice, I was hitting the keyboard as I watched it ^^; Either way, Moka walks into the two, which makes things really awkward. However, it doesn't take long for Yukari to expose herself as she was laughing loudly by the window.

After a lecturing from Tsukune, Yukari dismisses it and says that she doesn't need friends, since she was alone to begin to with. She runs off, thinking back what Tsukune said to her and the bad memories about how being being a witch, and a prodigy at that, has alienated her from the rest of her classmates. It turns out witches are considered half bred, as they were the result of the unification between humans and demons, which leads them being hated by both sides of the spectrum. Tsukune realizes that fact and decides to go after Yukari.

Somewhere in school, Yukari is confronted by the delinquents from earlier and is attacked by them. Fortunately, Moka arrives in time to intervene. After an awkward bonding moment, the delinquents, by now in the form of lizardmen, resumes their attack, and just as Yukari was about to get hit, Tsukune dives in to save her, receiving the blow meant for her. And as with the previous episodes, circumstances lead to Tsukune taking Moka's rosary off, and she owns the lizard dudes. More mushy lovey-dovey stuff, and Tsukune's harem increase in size again.

Wading through all the ecchi moments, this is yet another introduction episode, and I must say, a loli witch voiced by Rie Kugiyama ending her sentences with desu all the time easily makes Yukari a fan favorite. Having said that, there is still one more girl left, so it will be interesting to see what archetype she falls under and what fetishes she caters to :Q~~ Shin out.

It's difficult typing all this with one hand you know...

Tsukune finally manages to adjust himself to the way of life of being a student at the highschool solely meant for monsters and demons. Somewhat. With rumors of Tsukune having defeated Komiya Saizou(the orc) and Moka always beside him, our hero has become the envy of the entire school. Because of this, he's inadvertly become the prime target of a suspicious person.

Having run away from Moka after the she once again helped herself to his blood, Tsukune encounters a beautiful girl by the riverside, seemingly in distress. Holy shit, that's one big pair of jugs. Anyway, the pair return to school and just as Tsukune is about to leave her, the girl playfully rubs herself against him and puts some sort of charm on him with her eyes. Moka stumbles upon the pair although with further hypnosis from Kurumu, Tsukune dismisses the former and they all return to class.

Right after lessons, Kurumu confronts Moka and issues a challenge. She reveals to the latter on her grand plan of turning all the boys in school into her love slaves. However, Moka, being a nuisance as the guys fell for her instead, Kurumu declares that she is going to steal Tsukune away from her. Right on cue, the harem lead arrives at the scene and through Kurumu's gaze once again, he hurts Moka's feelings by saying that he is nothing but just breakfast to her, leaving the latter running away in tears.

Kurumu draws Tsukune to the infirmary where she comforts him and at the same time gloating at the so-called victory she gained over Moka. We then see a depressed and confused Moka alone, unsure of what she truly feels about Tsukune. Suddenly, Moka's rosary activates and begins speaking to her about how Kurumu's powers has put Tsukune into submission and that eventually his powers will drained away till the point of death. The rosary tells Moka to hurry before it's too late.

Returning to the infirmary, and just like a scene from an eroge after the player has gained sufficient points to trigger the ero sequence, Kurumu comes onto Tsukune seducing him even further, attempting to kiss him. Just like every typical male lead out there, Tsukune rejects her advances. Kurumu is angered by his insolence and reverts to her true form, a succubus, about to kill him, although Moka arrives in time to stop her. Kurumu strangles Tsukune with her tail and takes off, with Moka in tow.

Due to the sheer weight, Kurumu loses control and both Tsukune and Moka fall onto the ground. Just as Kurumu is about to deal the finishing blow, Tsukune manages to remove the rosary around Moka's neck, conjuring Vampire Moka. Despite having such a fearsome foe before her, Kurumu refuses to give in, as she reveals that her race's survival depends on her mission to enslave men, as they search for the Destined One. Moka pays no heed and quickly defeats the succubus. The tables have turned and just as Moka decides to finish her off, Tsukune steps in to stop her, claiming Kurumi isn't such a bad girl after all. The next day, on the way to school, Moka and Tsukune shares an intimate moment until Kurumu butts in, saying that she has decided that Tsukune will be her Destined One after all, much to chagrin as the two girls fight for his attention.

And with that, the second episode ends with an introduction and addition of a new girl to Tsukune's harem. Still in the early phases of the show, yet another character will be brought in next week, and I assume this will persist until every girl is introduced. With apparently only 13 episodes, I wonder how they are going to manage all that and start the story proper, as it still looks like highschool harem anime, despite the fact I was told that the plot thickens later. Having said that, I'm enjoying this show so far, as it serves as this season's Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun, meaning it's all about the fanservice and there's no real need to ponder about the story in general. Looking forward to this. Shin out.

So far everyones seen the anime and had its doubts of what this series might end amounting to in the future. From the excessive use of panty shots seen in the anime, and the large amount of female characters, have lead to make people believe that this could just be your average every season harem series.

But in reality it's far from it, although there are times when there is some humorous moments that have some sort of fanservice like theme to pop up in the manga, it doesn't go to the same extent as seen in the anime.

From what was scanned so far the story has shown that the good silliness last for only the character introductions as well as the monster of the week theme as well. For the most part once past chapter 8 Aono Tsukune fills in the role he has been monologuing to himself for a long time and he does it successfully at that.

So far it's also shown to have taken a rather serious tone with itself increasing in each chapter for the respected story arcs. Well, what I'm trying to say is that this is a series worth picking up as it's definitely a good read for manga readers out there. - Dragon Samurai
