Five episodes into this series and I feel as though I'm no longer watching a wacky show about a provocatively sadistic trap but rather a cookie cutter yuri highschool girl anime  ┐(-｡ｰ;)┌ The lack of Mariya in the previous two episodes would have otherwise annoyed me to no end, had they not showed him in a maid and nurse's outfit respectively. Apology accepted, SHAFT.

While it's an established fact that I'm gay for Mariya, I don't know if I can get used to the idea of having another version of him being genuinely female. I mean, Mariya's allure, other than his personality, has always been about him having a penis underneath it all. Shizu on the other hand, is a rather generic bishoujo moeblob ( ¯3¯) SHAFT even casted Aya Hirano of all people, and considering Mariya's uncanny resemblance to Death Note's Misa Misa, it seemed like the natural choice, I think. I was apprehensive when Kuro first told me about, but admittedly she sounded a lot better than I give her credit for. I would have even clutched my heart and grunted a HNNNNGH for her overall cuteness, but making Shizu big breasted, when she was clearly DFC in the manga is something I cannot overlook. For shame, SHAFT.

Speaking of lesbians, it turns out what Mariya said about Ryuken's fangirls was true after all, which I had initially assumed was a ruse to justify the latter's forceful eviction. Thankfully, the ever so considerate Mariya has thought ahead of time and bestowed Kanako with her own moeblob as a deterrent.

Definitely an unorthodox means of bullying, as I'm sure it takes a lot of effort to prepare fresh seafood and hatch up creative ways to utilize them. The girls of Ame no Kisaki have no doubt lived up to the reputation and expectations of its founding members by making something which is of perennially low in taste into an act of elegance -desu wa.

How the elegance of being a trap dissipates.

Episode 2 continues to introduce the rest of the main cast, not one which has failed to arouse Kanako, perhaps with the exception of the Ohoho-ing blonde twin drills. Guess what her occupation is? That's right, she's the senior high student council president. Not surprising as this archetype is bound to be of considerably higher status compared to other students. And yes, while she has yet to pull off that Noble Woman's Laugh, you know she's bound to do it eventually.

Anyway, Mariya is dead serious on keeping an eye on Kanako 24 hours a day, to the extent of threatening to rape the latter(DOUJINS FUKKEN WHERE?!), should that secret be exposed. Even Kanako's ex-roommate has been silenced regarding her sudden eviction from her room. Such is the influence of Shidou Mariya. Such has my lust for him grown.

To be honest, I hate this show. Among my many new year's resolution, one of it was to cut down on masturbation sessions in a single week, but alas, the first episode of what is undoubtedly my favorite series of the season made me cum no less then 3 times. Goddamn it.

It's been more than two weeks since the first pre-airing episode and my penis has aching in anticipation for the next episode to be released, and thankfully that day has finally come. I find myself attracted to the show not only because of the tantalizing trap that is Mariya, but also due to the fact I found myself being able to relate to the lead heroine herself.

The Garden of the Eden otherwise known as an all girls school is every man's (wet)dream, or in this case Kanako's, who is revealed to be a raging yuri, or to put it vulgarly, homosexual, as worded by Mariya-sama himself. Then again, Kanako is placed in a predicament where she is unsure whether or not she should shlick to Mariya, arguably the best "female" on campus, despite knowing full well he is actually not, therefore turning her.... straight?

It's this sense of ambiguity that made me empathize with her, since I too question my sexuality each time I get an erection just from looking at Mariya. This is compounded by the fact that, apart from emulating the traps of yesteryear who embody feminine qualities that surpass even their peers, Mariya is oozes the kind of sex appeal found in sadistic dominatrixes, and each time she switches to this persona and tortures Kanako both physically and verbally, I find my boxers soaked with pre-cum, projecting myself in place of Kanako, whom I conclude is equally as masochistic. Let's face it, no person can take that much abuse unless they actually craved for it. With all said and fapped, I await the next episode with bated breath of lust and a change of new underwear. Am I gay for liking it? Not at all, besides, isn't everyone else watching it for the yuri? Same difference, really.

Oh by the way, nice work on the karaoke, koda, although am I the only one experiencing some glitches in the OP sequence and also having the ending portion suddenly cut short?

This is a masterpiece probably comparable to that of Picasso's works.

OH HOLY MOTHER MARY!!! Where do i even begin with the praises i have for this anime. Its like THE GOD EMPEROR has taken notice of my preferences and tried his best to stick every form fantasy i could ever want into a neat package of an anime. Yuri, traps, lolis with animal ears, what more could a mortal ask for? Though i was initially unpleasantly surprised due to the fact that the tunnel trip into the academy felt somewhat similar to Rosario + Vampire (an anime which i would love to wipe from my mind).

However delicious the premise of this anime might be i have to admit that it was the hilarious comedy that played out between the characters and Kanako's over the top reactions that cemented its position in my current anime hierarchy. Mariya while being the sadistic trap that she (note that i refuse to use HE ) of the anime also strikes me as somewhat of an interesting character. What reason could she possibly have to dress as a woman (albeit an extremely cute one)? Well i guess that is one question that would be answered later on.

Seriously. You don't want to know where THAT hand went to.

Animation wise, it was not as abstract as i thought it would be with SHAFT at the helm of the production (their prior works bearing testament to their barely controlled lunacy). Which is a welcome shift IMO. Production quality was stellar all round and if there were any moments of QUALITY I missed it completely.

A GREAT SUCCESS THIS EPISODE WAS.
