If there’s one thing I like about Malaysia is its affinity to troll. Local anime fans might remember an uproar years ago about how this tabloid paper had likened anime to hentai, which, needless to say, raged the community to no end. Of course much like everything else here, it was eventually swept under the carpet and soon forgotten. Because you can’t keep a good troll at bay, here’s yet another facepalm inducing otaku article from CanDo Land.

As if my weekend couldn’t get any better, one of my favorite anime in recent memory is getting a long overdue sequel. To be aired sometime in October, the second season will feature the musically-inclined couple that is Nodame and Chiaki adjusting to their new lives in Paris, where the aspiring conductor competes against Europe’s in order to be acknowledged by his mentor, while the titular character struggles just to make it through music school itself, very much like the already aired live action specials.
