Who am I kidding. Otakus? Girlfriends? As sordid as it is, it certainly did not discourage this bunch from gearing up in rubber suits as they take cosplay to the next level. While it’s been around for quite some time, Kigurumi cosplay does not seem as well received as the conventional one that we’ve been acquainted with for some unknown reason. I mean, now everyone can do it too since you’d be wearing a latex mask the whole time, so even if you look like something a mother might think twice about loving, cosplaying as your favorite character is no longer an impossible dream. In hindsight, it hasn’t exactly stopped some from doing so anyway, but hey!
If they’re going to do a Hatsune Miku live concert, this is the only way to go.
