As if my weekend couldn’t get any better, one of my favorite anime in recent memory is getting a long overdue sequel. To be aired sometime in October, the second season will feature the musically-inclined couple that is Nodame and Chiaki adjusting to their new lives in Paris, where the aspiring conductor competes against Europe’s in order to be acknowledged by his mentor, while the titular character struggles just to make it through music school itself, very much like the already aired live action specials. Thanks to Setsukyie for the heads up. Source from Moonphase via ANN.

@gaiden
Well, no harm buying them just for collection purposes (:

Like I already mentioned at Blue Fox’s the sequel cover what the 2 live action specials already did, though how much more beyond that remains to be seen.

Paris? This is going to be awesome!
I wasn’t satisfied with the ending of the 1st season because not everything have been solved..
But that brings 1 thing to my mind, a second season is a must and there will be a 2nd season!
Good thing that I was right..
Just like all of you, I can’t wait for October!^^

I have seen the live action specials and if the anime sequel is to follow closely to the live, then I cannot possibly expect the span of the show to be more than 10 plus episodes. Oh yeah… this news is simply rocking my pants.
Gyaboooooo!!!!! Puri Gorota anyone?

Shin rates this show higher than anything i’ve heard so far ( though i personally don’t find it as entertaining as other shows i’ve watched)… But i guess its something to look forward to… Gyabooooooo!
