Oretachi Sanjou!
Easily my most favorite song of the season, other than Junjou Romantica(srsly) and Macross Frontier’s OP. That said, O2 rises above the rest for having an equally awesome PV to accompany it(not that I’ve seen Junjou’s), even if the song and PV is pretty much unrelated.
A lowly ranked samurai bodyguard(with an outfit reminding me of the Shinsengumi) longs for the attention of a kimono clad girl who so happens to be his superior’s concubine/geisha/etc.
One day, while on the streets, he notices the girl being ambushed by a group of thugs. With his quick thinking, the bodyguard scares them away, gaining the opportunity to talk and impressing her in the process. All this witnessed by our Orange Range guys, who are dressed as a bunch of ragtag misfits for some reason.
As time passes by, the rookie and his girl get along, until the former gets attacked by the same gangsters from last time. Being the hapless chap that he is, our hero gets beaten up into a pulp, when suddenly, our Orange Range dudes show up to save his arse. As it turns out, they each have their own special ability which they use to take out the thugs. The most noteworthy one is member Hiroki’s ability that allows him to speed up time, as he disarms his foes, which is kind of similar to Rollo’s Geass. Holy shit!
Lawlwut, a summary of a PV? Yeah, that’s right. Unlike most other PVs which are nonsensical to say the least, this one actually has a decent, albeit weird, storyline, that makes for an entertaining watch.

Yes! Thank you so very much for this. I too was getting impatient about the single coming out, and the short TV version that I had just wasn’t cutting it. Many <3 for the mp3.
