Probably the first and only figya related post you’ll ever see here. The fact my last purchase was this probably explains why I don’t do figurine reviews in the first place.
In any case, here are some stuff from WonderFest that caught my eye which I’m determined to own a few at least, if any at all ._.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
If I can only have one, this would be it. As if Gurren Lagann itself doesn’t look badass enough, I can’t wait to see TTGL actually completed.
Kittan never looked so awesome. I can still hear “Libera me” from hell playing in my mind ;-;
Kamina and his trademark pose with timeskip Yoko. No sign of GARlock Simon anywhere though. The Nia ones look a tad ‘naff though.
Touhou
Of all the Touhou figurines I’ve seen, these of Reimu and Marisa are by the far the most superior as opposed to the others that looked like low end gashapon stuff.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Non shitty Higurashi figyas of Rika and Satoko.
Fate Stay Night
Dark Rin and Dark Saber prove that women can be GAR.
However, the best looking FSN figurines would probably go to Nendoroid with their lineup below;
Kagami~n
So moe, I punctured a spleen. Gotta love Kagami’s “I DUNNO LOL” pose.
More of the twintail, this time beside her sister in their miko outfit. Looks great, though on the pricey side.
Horo
The wolf goddess by COSPA and Kotobukiya. Both are great, but I’d say the latter’s resemble Koume Keito’s design more.
Hatsune Miku
MIKU RUSH KEKEKEKEKE
Best Miku figya on the floor IMO.
Zone of the Enders
I fell in love with Yuji Shinkawa’s mecha design especially for Anubis and Jehuty when I first picked up Z.O.E 2, but I didn’t think I’d see it make a comeback here. The color’s wrong, but this Jehuty still looks fantastic.
Fate-chan
Not many healthy Fate to choose from surprisingly. Lawl @ low angler.
Needs Battle Mode Fate with Riot Zanber form Bardiche.

In response to your comment on another blog about ADV not listing an updated release date for Gurren Lagann, that’s because thy RELEASED IT ON SCHEDULE…yesterday, you can buy vol1 it on amazon now.

The Higurashi figures don’t look that great IMO.

Fate Stay Night cosplay of Kagami and Konata is best IMO. too bad they are limited edition figures.
