I am not going to lie, my enthusiasm dipped tremendously after watching this episode, but on the plus side, they got the worst character out of the way early on...

If you have read my introductory post on the show, you might have remembered how I likened it to Morning Musume. Well, virtually all of the girls here can in fact be mapped onto a member from the the aforementioned idol group, though Yukiho is the only one who still eludes me. There is no shortage of personality types they could have based her on, yet their decision of having an androphobic is baffling and impractical to say the least. Can you imagine her attending fan signing and handshake events? :lol:

Well to be fair, they have certainly cranked up Yukiho's fear of men up a notch in comparison to the game. It was nowhere this chronic and in a way worked fine in the latter, because as it lent towards character development, you see less of it as you progress. Here, it is just simply painful to watch as it borders on being irritating with no actual resolution to speak of. Shame that they would ruin an otherwise nice girl whose songs I enjoy listening to :oops:

    Doesn’t help that her VA switched to a higher pitched one as well…at least we can move on now. Her previous VA was better IMO.

    She’s one of my favorites when singing but here it seems her entire existence is to appeal the yuri side since she’s almost the entire time together with Makoto

      Ditto on that. Makoto is like one of those Takarazuka dykes that exist solely to comfort women because she’s ‘manly’ enough but still has the safety net in the form of a vagina.

    I would agree with milady. However she missed out the fact that the twins are voiced by the same seiyuu who voiced Kagamine Rin/Ren. :roll:
