Hachikuji Mayoi Is Mai Waifu
Quite the statement I am making with the title, but if you've been around these parts, you probably saw it coming a mile away 
In a show that deals with double meanings and convoluted word association, it is nice to know that SHAFT has in store, themes that someone such as myself could I identify with. Being a pedophilic degenerate never felt this good 
If Needless wins for the most titillating ED sequence of the season, then, Bakemonogatari's, at least from what I assume is exclusive only to this arc, wins it for being the most enticing 
SHAFT clearly went all out with it, to the extent it seemed like a totally different(and arguably better) show.
I won't lie though; I was this close to hopping on board the Senjougahara bandwagon had it not been for blonde loli vampire Shinobu at the end of the first episode. No luck of course, since she never showed up in the subsequent episodes, and in her stead, I got someone even better! The moment Mayoi Hachikuji appeared on screen for the very first time and was established to be a precocious sharp tongued twin-tailed fifth grader, lugging around a schoolbag that probably weighs as much as her, I could feel the pre-cum leaking from the tip of my erect p-never mind.

That's pretty much what transpired in the fourth episode, or at least I think it did. Other than that, it's another episode of Araragi taking verbal abuse from Senjougahara while they all walk around in circles. As such, it was rather uneventful in nature, so you can either conclude that it was simply boring or perhaps, compelling; briming with witter banter, mostly delivered by Hitagi and character interaction. Me? I'm just looping the OP sequence repeatedly while it lasts. Feels good man. Now to find artwork to replace that eyesore whatshername who's been occupying my top banner for god knows how long.

If the op was trying to entice lolicons, I presume it did its job what with you coming forward and openly professing your attraction for the little 5th grade girl. The episode itself was quite dull in nature, but that’s because her interaction with Koyomi is pretty dull to begin with. There’s nothing entertaining about watching Koyomi baby-sit a brat that ACTUALLY BITES. This episode just goes to show that LITTLE KIDS ARE BETTER OFF IN KIDS’ SHOWS. Mayoi is one of the most annoying characters I’ve seen to date. Annoying loli is annoying. Glad it’s ending next arc.

Anyway Bakeno have amused me more than any other anime this season, even it’s mostly talking the ever changing art always makes me enticed by it reminds me of hidamari sketch a lot and the occasional senjougahara pep talk never fails to amuse me.
BTW I’m starting to think the thing that you like is not the loli-ness but the pigtails

This episode needed more Senjougahara and less annoying loli. Nothing against the archetype but I cheered when she was knocked out for the second time. Araragi should have dumped the little shit into a garbage bin and leave it at that.
