Chihara Minori LIVE @ DaiCon

Copied from DaiCon's official website

On her tour to South East Asia for the first time, Miss Chihara Minori will be holding a Q&A panel with the fans on Saturday, 11th July 2009 and a special performance on Sunday, 12th July. Be sure to witness this historic event at DaiCon!

Check out the video here.

Will this be as great as May'N's live at AFA08? I can't wait to find out. Rest assured i will be snapping up VIP tickets regardless of the price. Hopefully the organisers won't be such an ass when it comes to photography as with what happened during AFA08.

INSERT AWSM REACTIONS HERE.

About Setsuna-san

I don't have much to say about myself. Well, for one i started watching anime back in my secondary school years but i have only begun to delve deeper into it during the past couple of years. I am also an amateur photographer.

  1. Damn… Everything happens in Malaysia when I’m not there…

  2. Unlike Singapore, Malaysia invites voice actors/actresses a.k.a. the real deal. I’m not too sure whether this will have anything great. But yeah, expect a slurge of Singaporeans going over across the Causeway.

Oh they will be asses by default as Japanese are uptight with photography PERIOD because their entertainment industry had pushed through portrait right laws. If you are not from press you are NOT SUPPOSE to take photos of the idols/seiyuu etc in ANY events as it is the rule of the industry and law in Japan unless otherwise specified (very rare, only minor underground idols ever have events where you can take photos), but of course most other developed countries don’t have rules this strick (and not as absurd) which the Japanese themselves don’t understand and always wonders why the overseas fans has their arms up in the air about it as to them, not allowing photography is “common sense”. The fact that overseas fans can get away with taking photos at all is already something that even the local Japanese otakus are dying to have.

  4. Nice. Although as it stands now I think i’m too deep in NEET mode to go anywhere, let alone across the causeway.

  5. @SinSnakeZ – Well, come back here then.

@TP – Didn’t you guys get your share during AFA?

@houkoholic – Time to apply for a press pass

@C.I. – With a currency that is twice as strong as my country’s I see no reason why you should not come. :???:

  6. @Setsuna-san:

True, but I felt that the guests that were invited were more of entertainers rather than voice actors/actresses, which you guys have already nailed down with. In retrospect, however, it doesn’t even matter anymore: as long as they’re Japanese, have ties in the Japanese anime industry and/or are famous enough to be known through word-of-Internet-mouth, organizers from both sides of the Causeway will wanna invite them in.

Now, if somebody actually invited ALI Project instead…

    May’n's concert was awesome but the AFA itself wasn’t ;_;
Where else, for this one, it’s Minori Chihara AND good con.
