Valkyria Chronicles: Guns of Gallia

Shin and his (yet another) self indulgent Metal Gear Solid referenced post! Also, don't mind the quirky photoshop filters, since that was pretty much A1's intention in presenting their creation, and I merely made it more apparent 
That said, I honestly have no idea exactly what to make of the actual show itself... For the most part, I was entertained by the first twenty minutes, but mainly because of how Alicia carried the entire episode by herself, not to mention her uncanny resemblance to Kana, in looks and character(she's only slightly less dense). Both storyline and setting reminded me a lot of Pumpkin Scissors, so I'm somewhat apprehensive, as I had expected something out of the latter(which I should not have), which, needless to say, were not delivered.
In hindsight, seeing as how the game seems to be based around recruiting characters and engaging in said skirmishes, perhaps, Valkyria Chronicles has a lot more to offer me than just eye candy, which extends further than just the producers' valiant attempt at simulating the in-game-cutscene-esque animation.
Still undecided as far as first impression goes, and although I like it enough to keep watching, I'll be keeping tabs on this by relying on other people's feedback, as it's hardly near the top of my priorities for the season.

Already in the first ep and they´ve changed stuff from the game. I´ll continue to watch if they keep on changing stuff or not.
I liked what I saw. Though I didn´t like that they had the motion flow when the graphics were still. Much better in the anime.
Alicia was cute though :)

Yeah its definitely Kana xD, from the moment she started talking and the way she acted it was definitely Kana. Still need to get the game for PS3 someday but this is definitely a series that I’ll follow
