Kotobukiya’s Octavia (1/8)

After many bouts of procrastination I finally started work on the backlog of figures that i have yet to photograph. More photos right after the break.
For the uninitiated, Octavia is a character from the eroge/Visual Novel Tears to Tiara Earth's Wreath. The sculpt of this particular figure is based on the PS3 version of her and not the PC version which looked absolutely horrible.
Incidentally, there is also an anime adaptation of the VN in the works though i am uncertain as to when it would begin airing.
Delicious Zettai Ryouikki.
If you saw the pantsu first you are a pervert.
Things i liked about this figure.
- Nice sculpt. Stays true to the game character.
- Dynamic pose that is action-centric.
- Visible amounts of effort put into the details.
- Zettai Ryouiki.
Things i disliked about this figure.
- The ear ring seems rather weird as if it was glued to her ear.
- Prohibitively high exchange rate of MYR against the Yen has burned a larger than usual hole in my wallet.

A nice figure indeed, the teeth are a bit awkward for someone who’s not used to see figures with showing teeth but it gives a nice touch.
In your next photo shoot you probably want to use a bit of light on the figure because like this the pictures look a bit bland if you know what I mean ^_^

I was expecting to see full pantsu shot.
Not that I care. I just usually see more pantsu shots on figure reviews. Anywayzzz, great figure! The line where her bangs on her hair attach is annoying me though….
