Fembot Aiko
Slowpoke is slowpoke but please bear with me as i had just discovered this here Fembot. It was brought to my attention in the random segment of The Situation Room on CNN which i just watched minutes earlier. This is one step for robotics and one giant leap to the extinction of humans. Heck, she even cosplays as Chi, slaps you when you grope her, and generally acts like any normal female would when you ask her to lick your feet. Which is GTFO. Anyway, what i am trying to convey is that my dream of a robot waifu suddenly seems plausible. Now if only the creator would make a loli version of fembots.

Also, on the homepage of project Aiko it is stated that she will be receiving extra abilities in the future such as.
- Facial Expressions
- Make tea and coffee
- Feeding a person sushi
- Make simple breakfast: eggs and bacon
- If I lie my head down on Aiko lap, have her clean my ears with a Q-tip.
- Ability to massage my shoulders and neck.
- Able to do print and write
- Clean the windows
- Dust the shelves
- Clean the toilet. (I hate cleaning the bathroom, might as well have someone else do it for me)

Actually, the creator add more extras to make her human-like. Some of ‘em are
1. You can make sex with her, though the creator say he never done it yet.
2. She have a sensitivity mechanism at those part too, and that’s mean she’ll…. moan if you do it too hard.
Make one yourself for £14,000.

It’s not exactly anything new, plus I have little hope for such projects to have any significant practical usage (help kids with maths, wtf!?). Without the proper AI and humanlikeness, what could they possibly achieve other than some pretty industrial robots and/or s*x toys?
And seriously, don’t you notice how fraudulent this project looks? If things were as good as he says, why are there no big corporations helping him? Is he a goddamn genius that will create the next big thing? What are the odds? Also, I checked out his forum, and I must admit it’s probably the weirdest one I’ve seen in a long time (why is everybody being so gay and praising the guy like he’s the smartest guy in the world? I smell fake accounts too). This might be just another elaborate hoax. My bullshit detector is on, and it tells me there’s not enough credibility in his story.

(Well, so much for reading carefully. I thought it was another doll review.)
This is actually very impressive work. I think the reason it took so long for something like this to appear was because the people that actually want something like this are also the people that are least likely to build one (i.e. most otaku aren’t exactly the creative or active sort).

It’s obvious Trung Le took his idea and the design for Aiko from my book, Love’s Reflection, which was published earlier this year. My robot, Alpha, is even more intelligent and talented than Aiko, and a lot better looking. She, Alpha, is fully capable of passing the Turing Test.
I may have to sue the guy for infringing my copyright.
