Code Geass R2 Turn 20: The Once And Future Emperor

This is how every episode of Code Geass should start off. YEEAAAAAAH!!

GREAT SUCCESS!! A pointless scene really, since Nina just goes on site to brood, as though hoping to gain sympathy from Nukezaku. He sure showed her!

Back at the Ikuraga, Anya's eyes glow with an ominous red of Geass, marking Marianne's revival. Her first task at hand? Confront C.C and engage in some hot futa secksing.

God, I'm ashamed of myself and the exploitability of Photoshop sometimes.

Our? Is she in cohorts with Charles? Or perhaps, Nunally? The mind boggles at the numerous possibles, though I like how it's parellel to my Metal Geass Solid theories. Sunrise, so predictable to the point that whatever BS fans make up has a good chance of manifesting

Finally! After over 40 episodes, Marianne makes her speaking debut, and man, she is way better than I had initially imagined. While I'm somewhat surprised by the fact that she seems much more aloft and nonchalant about the plight of her children, she has the same JUST AS PLANNED traits as with both Charles and Lelouch. And swapping her aged body with sagging tits for that of a deliciously flat chested little girl? Fuck Yeah!

Diethard, for someone with a relatively high INT rating, you sure know little about branding. You're right, the costume and mask can be mass produced for any man, woman or child(and dog). But the one thing that makes Zero a true symbol is something that no living entity on Earth can ever dream to replicate:

It's like telling people you've run out of Coke and that Pepsi could replace it. IT'S NOT THE SAME!!!

So as it turns out, the Great Penguin Army will be doing Charles' bidding instead of Lelouch's. As if he wasn't invulnerable as already, he now gets to command these? Ragnarok has truly descended upon us:

I hate to be the one to tell you this, Cornelia-oneesama, but your Knight, um, he's kinda dead. But worry not, death is but a plot device used to bench characters to the sidelines temporarily as they serve no purpose to the story. Unless of course, they die in Lelouch's arms, smiling and crying at the same time. That's when you know they've really kicked the bucket. Rest assured though, because when he does return, Guilford will serve his Hime-sama once again, and this time, with upgrades:

Poor Suzaku, you'd think that the time he spent during his days as a grunt, the Britannian Empire had at least paid for his basic education. Now, I know Elevens tend to have a poor command of Emperor's English, but this is ridiculous!

Well, none of it matters anymore, since Big Charles IDDQD'ed himself, not forgetting the fact that his most trusted lieutenant was by his side. So what if 7, 8, 9? Bismarck shows that size does indeed matter, when it comes to 2H swords. In retrospect, even if Suzaku was somehow smart enough to bring a gun along, the Knight of One would have probably deflected all incoming bullets with his Excalibur. Or even better yet, slice them into half.

Mustering whatever traces of intelligence left in him, Suzaku manages to ascertain an important fact:

He's royally fucked.

And Lelouch's grand entrance? Pretty sure I've seen it somewhere before:

A (discarded) prince who has returned at long last to slay his own father and ascend the throne? The resemblance in uncanny! Sort of. Fact: Sunrise blew 70% of their allocated budget on the aforementioned scene alone.

If Sunrise won't give her more screentime, then I will! Moe Moenica's moeness is woefully underutilized here, and I fear that she will meet with her demise pretty soon as did other female Britannian pilots.

For better or for worse, Lelouch is now stuck in the same material plane as his old man. Putting the gay innuendos aside, I guess this means they can start forgiving each other and catch up on old times. I can see it now:

"Ruruuuuuuuschuu(sic), my son! Have I ever thought you how to ride a bike?"

No dad, I've always sat in the sidecar...

That, or they can engage in some wholesome father and son activities, like going fishing. Or mud wrestling. Don't ask.

Sick of Ali Project? Why not listen to one of gg's staff members singing the ED2 theme instead?

Anyway, did Suzaku actually use the English (albeit originating from Arabic) word “assassin”, or did he use the Japanese equivalent? If the latter, than he’s just bad at Japanese, his native language. …Which would actually be worse than him being bad at English. XD

It just re-occurred to me that Suzaku kind of looks like an older version of Syaoran… so, Lelouch and his papa watching CCS for all of eternity seems to make the most sense… however, the question is, is it really all of eternity, or is it Kannadzuki no Miko’s version of eternity? ‘Cause I think that lasted about three minutes.

I watched around five episodes of that CSI, until I realized he was going to do that EVERY SINGLE EPISODE (the youtube montages are good, though).

I’m fairly certain that everyone that watched that scene between Anya and C.C. had thoughts different from what was intended. Not into futa, so I agree with Anime Loving Republican. Unsure how well it would work in that position, though I wouldn’t mind finding out (to those not completely clear, D.E.D. is double ended dildo, although there are variations). But yes, you should be ashamed, Shin. Be VERY ashamed.
I think it may be a royal our, as in “our glass is not full, bring the pitcher you lazy servant”.

Like I said last episode, give it a Morgan Freeman voiceover; “and as Mankind trembled before it’s new overlords, it could only marvel at the excellent tailoring of their suits.”

Lastly, I CANNOT believe that you didn’t note the awesome pool skills of my beloved Cecille, especially the way she timed that last ball to drop at a critical juncture in Suzaku’s faggotry.

It’s not physically possible to waste 70% of an entire shows budget in under 20 seconds. If it took THAT much to make that scene the rest of the show would look worse than your photoshop skills ;) If the show is really that bad I wait with baited breath to see the fruits of your own original efforts.

Everything looks similar to Arthas’ grasp for power to a wowhead :) Arthas didn’t want to kill his Dad until his soul was devoured. Lelouch wanted to kill his father from day 1. Outside of a Prince killing his father (holy crap no one has evar done that that before O.O) the rest of your comparison is really non existent, if anything I would say that scene looks like Sephiroth emerging from the flame. Personally I think that Arthas’ storyline was a ridiculous rip off of Sarah Kerrigan but that’s not the point.

Are you kidding?! ANY scene that Nina gets her face rubbed in dirt/blood/crap is a scene worth having on repeat, deserving it’s own episode even!

You’re totally right, Suzaku is a little bitch. Nina’s rules apply to him as well, I loved watching his hands get stained with blood. Self righteous ass…
