Code Geass R2 Turn 18: A Kiss To Build A Dream On

That's pretty much all the lulz you'll be getting from me this time around. Sorry to disappoint but I'm going to be preoccupied with stuff until late into the week, so chances of me actually sitting down to photosh00p and milk the funnies out of this holy cow of an episode are next to Zero. Now that you are aware of my flimsy excuse for slacking off, let's move on, shall we?

As you might have figured out, the focus is entirely on the WMD that Suzaku have conveniently, though unintentionally deployed on Tokyo, which saw a wide area being swallowed up in an implosion.The casualty count is unknown, but it is the possibility of Nunally's death which is most heartbreaking, especially since I was banking on her to be the final villain. Perishing alongside Lelouch's dear sister include Sayoko, in her sneaking suit, and Asahina who looked as though he was about to confess to Toudou right before his demise. Guilford too, died valiantly protecting Lelouch to the very end still under the effects of Geass. I felt bad, but only because it meant the poll I made last week was for nought. But hey, knowing the producers, there might be some kind of deus ex machina being employed here, and with that taken into account, I am dead set on insisting that Nunally finally activates her Geass to get out of that predicament. Or not.

Guren's looking awfully sexier than ever before, and it was very amusing to watch Count "Lloyd" Pudding squeal "Thief!" when Kallen reclaimed it, not to mention Cecille who took the liberty in customizing the OS with cute animal icons. Bradley biting the dust in this episode came as no surprise, though it really pained me to see his all female support team die so quickly.

The only winner here is probably Schneizel, who was evidently pleased when the FLEIJA was unleashed, making me wonder if he was going to mass produce it in a bid for total world domination. If it does occur however, I can only imagine the scenario whereby people will have to start taking shelters in underground vaults when the skies rain down pink spheres of destruction. Sure feels like FALLOUT in here. Also, Suzaku is now Nukezaku and Nina just needs to die in the most horrible fashion imaginable, seriously.

Actually we never saw nunally die. She was aboard a ship. What we did saw was her being rescued by Sayoko. the image when we see nunally iluminated with the light of freya……..perhaps the ship was already escaping by that time…..most definitely a plot twist….

Sorry I’m late, took me a while to notice you already created this page. I’m used to waiting until Tuesday for my fix of madness. So, back to our regularly scheduled programming. Ahem…

HAHA! As if that jerk Suzaku didn’t have enough on his chest already, now he’s committed a little mass slaughter- but no biggie, I’m sure the Euphienator would approve.

Every time I see someone note his ‘live’ geass, I think its along the lines of “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”. Which would be pretty damn funny, if he broke out into comedy skits every time it activated.

Nina and that guy Billy D williams played in C&C3 and Gendo could get along well. I mean what they said was basiclly identical.

Well guys, after being force fed with theories, I’m now somewhat inclined to believe that Nunally could have made it out of there. Personally, I felt her “death” wasn’t as dramatic as it should have been, and who knows, like Cat Megex have pointed out, perhaps the bomb actually serves a different purpose. Not that it matters for now anyway, since the OoTBK are going to rape Lelouch’s ass the following episodes. I agree with Anime Loving Republican; the cute girls shouldn’t have died.

@Shin: The thing I’m most looking forward to next episode is finally getting to know just what Rolo keeps in that locket of his. (…By the way, was that actually Nunnally’s locket to begin with, or did Lelouch simply give a locket to Nunnally in the past and so Rolo was given a similar locket?)

No worries for the fates of Nunnally, Romeyer, Asahina, or most importantly Milly? No excitement over his thrashing at Lelouch’s hands? No questions as to what Cornelia is going to do next? Even worse, your question has already been answered: it’s a picture of him and Lulu, that’s all.
