A Haruhi Sequel, But Not Really(?)
Even Lelouch doesn't know what to make of it.
If that post title doesn't make much sense, then well, it's because I didn't really get what these articles regarding the sequel of Haruhi that was in the works being cancelled and replaced with a new season, really meant. SEITENKAN CONFIRMED! You know what, as long the show stays true to the source material, I'm fine with it. I just hope this doesn't turn out to be Haruhi: Okawari or something. 
Long hair Haruhi; not sure if want, since I'm much too used to her old hairstyle. Then again, I'm not a sucker for long haired girls, which probably explains the lack of interest. Other than the central character herself, the rest of the cast doesn't seem to have undergone much change, with Mikuru being as moe as ever, and Itsuki still oh-so fabulous. 
Speaking of misleading titles, I saw something peculiar at ANN:
Being the perv that I was, I went HOLY FUCKING SHIT ARE THEY ANIMATING TOMOYO AFTER??!!!
But then after reading the entire news piece, I went like:
Because it wasn't what I thought it was, as it was just the DVD only episode. Twice. That's how many times I got mislead in one night. Damn you, Kyoto Animation.

And not to forget, Clannad ~After Story~ is on it’s way too..
But no details (airing date) about those shows yet..

Tomoyo had one of the better routes in the game, so I’m excited about that DVD extra!

So I guess we don’t have to wait long for Clannad second season. I like Haruhi with long hair though, and if I reveal the reason behind her long hair, I’d have committed a horrible sin in the form of a ginormous spoiler. So there! Readers of the Haruhi light novel series ought to know the reason, tool. No doubt we’ll be witnessing a new season of mega-class Haruhi hurricanes sweeping across the otaku globe.

Kaisos, I don’t know why that’s a confusing concept. Some folks are content to watch DVDs and don’t go in for that whole looking on the internet for (sometimes) painfully-written fan translations. Licensed english versions won’t happen for another year (hot damn, why are manga and light novels slower than anime?).
That said, I did wreck my eyes reading them on a computer in a dark room, and the hair and uniform make sense.

I’ve been hearing about the new Haruhi season for almost a year and a half and haven’t seen anything that completely confirms it. Personally I don’t care that much if they make a new season, certainly I’ll watch it if they release it but that’s not one of my priorities.

Well… I think their will be a sequel… because I read the Light Novels and the picture with the long-haired Haruhi, the Asahina wearing a santa costume and the nagato wearing that spiked hat are from “The dissapearance of Haruhi Suzumiya”.
