Megami Magazine Mmm’kay?

The other day, I was flipping through some locally published anime cum manga magazines and found myself appalled by the content, especially when it came to the posters(Still featuring Naruto and Bleach posters FFS!!). So I was wondering, is it that hard for them to actually print the kind of stuff you'd get from, say, Japan? Oh wait, I forgot where I'm from lawl....

If you don't already know, Megami is an anime magazine famous for its high quality posters featuring anime females from the latest shows(although Nanoha seem to be a staple feature in the past few issues even long after the the show was completed) Expect at least 7 or so double-sided pull-out posters (and an even larger one within) featuring cute and sexy shots of all the bishoujos from your favorite series.

I was lucky enough to pick up an issue during my visit to Japan, and another at the local Kinokuniya bookstore. Needless to say, I fell in love with it and am yearning for more(Yes, I know it's been around for a long time, I never really thought much of it until I had a physical copy ><). Of course, the best way to obtain a copy is by ordering or subscribing through sites such as J-List(something I'm really considering of doing after the Chinese New Year, since it's pretty costly ><) For the rest, you can always head over to imageboards such as moe.imouto.org to download the scans. Still if possible, get yourself an issue, as the posters(they do have articles, but what the heck) are top notch, and will really add color to an otherwise mundane otaku's room(like mine). At the same time, impress your otaku buddies as you'd have stuff that the rubbish local anime magazine wannabes will never provide(I could go on about how crappy the stuff we get here, but I'd probably do that some other time) or just creep people out with a room full of hot 2D girls plastered all over!

Waiii, I’m confused. You don’t actually have Megami 94, do you? Because that doesn’t look like the cover.

I’m guessing you got the scans off of imouto? >_> I’m sitting on 4 Megami’s right now and I’d never scan them because I just don’t have the equipment.

hmm too bad the local Kinokuniya doesnt carry Megami anymore. The last time i asked them, they said their stock was mutilated by the customs. I did however managed to pick up Megami Deluxe issue 9 from Kinokuniya. (thats really odd)

on a side note, i picked up issue 91 in area 11 as well.

Megami magazine is indeed a great magazine, I managed to import at least two issues but I’d like to try and get a Dengeki Hime issue but the moment she’s out for pre-orders the orders get filled in a flash.
