Minami-ke – 01

Despite the overwhelming varieties of harem animes this season, there’s finally something that isn’t harem which turns out to be interesting! Minami-ke which talks about the daily life of 3 sisters gives me a rather special feeling. Though not being able to describe it well , I’d simply say that its really really…. “nice”.

You call that a threat? But i guess in Kana's case... YEAH!The anime evolves around the 3 Minami sisters – Haruka, Kana, and Chiaki. Haruka being the eldest of them all is a gentle, sweet and loving sister who takes care of everything from shopping to house-hold chores ( Perfect wife in production). As for Kana, She’s the reckless, stupid, hyper-active, and playful (also known for her frightening cooking) one among them all. Thus bringing in most of the excitement in the show. The youngest among them all would be Chiaki whose the smart-ass (she translates love letters into challenge notes -.-) and the spoilt brat (Haruka’s fault).

Fearless Chiaki is shaken?

Any idiot can make hotcakes... ANY except... Kana!

Hotcakes turn out to be "cream stew" thanks to Kana!Although being an older sister to Chiaki, Kana is often outsmart by her. Chiaki is very much realistic and has practically no faith in Kana’s decisions. However, she greatly respects Haruka. Haruka finds it difficult to explain bout love (kisses etc) to Chiaki and escapes the topic almost immediately! Kana trying to be smart chooses to explain to young Chiaki what kissing is about with a practical experiment which turns out to be chaotic thus giving Chiaki a living hell (guess this is what you call fun?) till Haruka came to the rescue.

RIGHT!

If they don't serve lunches during lunch what do they serve then? supper? IQ = 10 -_-

Later on, Kana ditches a kid whose in love with her (why would anyone love her to begin with?-.-) unintentionally caused by a false translation by Chiaki. Which explains why you never listen to a younger sister/brother -.- since they’ll probably not know anything (especially about love)!

Where's your dignity -_- calling your younger sis -sama?But i guess Kana's stupidity adds to the humour in this show... However if i were to pick one I'd still go for Haruka! Much more reliable and gentle.

Wow! A kick from Kana can pierce through bones? Thats something new!

Sigh... When will your foolishness end? (I'm guessing at the end of this show -____- )
