Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei – 02

Oh man, this is easily my most favorite show this season so far. It would seem at the beginning of each episode, the Pink Supervisor will attempt to take his own life(as usual) only to be stopped(only to worsen things) by Fuura and then utters that one hypocritical line.

Then the show will be over and I'd have nothing to watch. ;_;

In a way, this show is a twisted and demented harem show (to put it simply) where each and everyone of the girls have some sort of weird characteristic, ranging from ever-so-positive Fuura, the shy but extremely moe hikkikomori Komori, obsessive compulsive Kitsu to stalker Tsunetsuki.

SO MOE I'M GONNA DIE!

At first glance, it would seem that our Pink Supervisor will deal with each of these girls and their distinct personalities in his callous, empathetic nature, which ironically works, and bonds them together in some way, albeit with funny results. Another great thing about this show is Fuura and her inane logic as to explain the dysfunctional personalities of some of the girls. For example, refusing to acknowledge the fact Komori is indeed a shut-in, Fuura simply states that she is actually a demon and prevents her from leaving her room while Tsunetsuki's stalking behavior is justified as "pure love" ORZ

UR DOING IT WRONG!

I don't think so, Tim.

As it was the previous episode, the show is laden with subtle references to other shows, be it Death Note, Code Geass or even Lucky Star, which makes the show more enjoyable (I'm a sucker for in show references)

What else can I say? I love this show, but I'm going to go watch Lucky Star now. Shin out.
